Powerchip?

Does anyone have any experience with Powerhip for the ML55? I have communicated with the company and am very interested.

Specifically, how is gas milage affected by "normal" driving (not full throttle). I know this will vary based on driving style but what is you personal experience?

Thanks
Dwayne

Gas mileage was unchanged in "normal" driving after installing in my E55. With hard driving it dropped about 1 MPG. Maybe because I was driving it harder more often. Can't say for sure. Absolutely love the new mid range punch.

Thanks

Thanks for the input.
I am very interested. I pull a 22ft travel trailer and it does fine now but think the extra power will help.
Also, what did your dealer say did about it affecting your Warranty?
Thanks
Dwayne

The PowerChip modification is undetectable by the dealer. Just don't let them replace your ECU!

I'm sure if there was an engine failure, they would have a problem but the risk is minimal.

Have you considered the unichip? Its a piggyback unit that you can tune much more
thouroughly on a dyno than you can your oem ecu.
