ML55 ECU - can me2.0 be swapped to me2.8?
My ML55's ECU needs a deimmo, but I haven't got star and neither can I find anyone local to London with it. It's too costly to purchase for a one-time use.
I can deimmo a me2.8 ECU easily. Can it go in as a straight swap?

I want to figure out what this Russian guy did sounds like it could be relatively easy with star diagnostics once you know what your doing and this guy clearly knows what he's doing at an advanced level:

This is too delete the immo in me2.0 not retrofit me2.8 which I think will be way harder.
Fitting me2.8 opens these up better to supercharger kits tho.
The only other way is the julie type emulators that everyone and their dog uses but its a contrived method of doing it when it can clearly be done with advanced Star diagnostics/coding knowledge.
