2007 ML63 purchase advice

I know that I am crazy, but. Thinking of buying a used ML63 with 130,000 from a local dealer (not MB). Looks and runs nicely. There is some sort of a clunk/squeal noise from the left front suspension. The dealer says it is the control arms, which they will replace as part of the deal. It starts, runs and stops well. Had been looking for a used X5 when I came across this one. I do most of my own work. Would be interested in your thoughts. Are parts hard to source?

Thanks!

I have had my 07ML63 for 8 years now. I bought it in 2015 with 41k miles I now have 102k miles. You will not be disappointed with the power and the ride. I also replaced the controls arms due to cracked bushings and squeaks and you can’t buy the bushings separately. The problems I had were motor mounts and airmatic struts. The dealer did the mounts but I did all of the struts and airbags. The cost of maintenance is on the high side. Oil changes is 10 quarts of synthetic so it over $100 even when you do it yourself. Just remember it’s an old truck but if you can get a good deal it may be worth it. It’s funny my friend who is a MB master mechanic said to get rid of mine at 130k.
