2009 ML63 TPMS Sensor Life
I am preparing to have my stock wheels refurbished. In preparation, I am dismounting the new tires and stripping the wheel pressure sensors. I am wondering how much longer these will last-assuming they're original. Really don't want to have to dismount tires again on freshly refinished wheel for an avoidable service item. Thoughts?

I couldn't agree more. I have no idea how old the current units are. I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive they are. Definitely don't want to break down the fresh wheels again for something silly.

I will get them swapped out after I get the wheels back. I'm sending them to Midwest Wheel & Tire in Auburn Hills, MI. They seemed to be the right people. I will post pictures after getting them back.
