E55 (99-00) or ML55 - I can’t decide!

E55 (99-00) or ML55 - I can’t decide!
I am having trouble deciding what to get – I currently have a C43 and need more room for a growing family. I like driving fast but live in San Francisco and rarely get a chance to.
OK - don't hate me But . . . .I don't know why -- but I have never been a fan of the W210 -- it has always strick me as kind on an old-man's car and the body style has been around for nearly 9 years, now.
So I am currently trying to choose between an E55 and an ML55. FYI our other car is a BMW 3-Wagon.

Mercedes C32SC AMG
ML55, this car is amazing! It has same performance as Subaru Impreza WRX (my own experience).
W210 used to be a nice pretty car. However, not today.
ML55 AMG with good wheels = awesome car for everyday driving.

I love my ex-E320 W210 but my wife won't drive it because she thinks makes her looked old.
ML is also an 'old man car' and besides, the new ML is coming too.
You really need the E55 W211 as you love fast car and want to have more room for the family. The airmatic makes your family comfortable when you are not racing.
If E55 is hard to find , get the E500.

the problem is that my budget is 25-35 not 50-70!
now what should I do?
I am leaning towards a C32 - but I thought that I wanted a little larger car to replace me C43

I bought our ML55 about a year ago now for $32K with 26K miles from a MBZ dealer on Ebay. Originally I bought it for my wife and wanted the extra hp for when I drive it for some fun. Now this is our main driver and I like driving it better than my CL600. It's fun, responsive, functional, looks great, safe, and been virtually trouble free. One of the best cars I've owned.

Out Of Control!!
As the proud owner of an 00' ML 55 I would say go with the ML 
. I bought mine about a year ago not looking for a 55. Ill tell you my problems and success stories and hopefully itll help...
Cons-
Constant check engine light on due to catalytic converter failure(dont wanna spend the money on new ones), there is a leak in the firewall and in my front passenger floor a puddle builds up. MCS module is tempermental(this is the only thing left to the stock system), Drivers window makes noise when it goes up on occasion.
Pros-
This past week(12/27/04) the Boston Area got a nasty little snow storm that left me with 15"s of snow in my driveway, Mom's camry didnt move, Dad's 86 E260 stayed in the garage and my ML played in the snow like it was driving on pavement. You want fast... 4th of july I hit the governed 146mph, I think its closer to 147, hehe. Its 6500lbs of pure comfort that is luxury, speed, and slight off roading(ill post picks of me playing in the snow on my sounddomain site soon)
The E and the ML are going to give you the same amount of headaches and gas is gonna be killer for either tank, The ML can just play in places the E cant
