2011 ML63 AMG

2011 ML63 AMG Fault codes

My 2011 ML63AMG was in for routine service. Plugs were also replaced. I have 55k on the odometer. After picking car up, CEL came on a few days later. Dealer cleared fault codes and said must be something related to extreme cold ambient temperatures we had that week in Chicago, eg 0 deg F. No problem for a month. Filled tank and then CEL came back on. Checked gas cap, restarted car etc, CEL still on. Drove another 30 mins. Parked for a few hours, got back in car, CEL still on and ASC failure warning came up and car decelerated quickly in traffic and would not accelerate. Pulled over, switched off And restarted, all ok. Drove an hour home. Took car to MB dealer; they say I need a new intake manifold....ouch $4500. I am not convinced they actually know what's wrong.

Fault codes are:
the 3 fault codes registering this visit are : 3729 (P01B) - "measured left air mass is implausible compared to the position of the throttle valves", also 1061 "load limit is active", and 2313 "torque control has a malfunction". *All 3 codes are in Engine Control Module (ME)

Any ideas or help is appreciated!
