My names Phil Chapparone, my brother and I run Chapparone Auto Body & Painting in San Diego, California. I started as a BMW guy and made the switch to Mercedes a few years ago. Recently sold my 2011 C63 and purchased a 2012 ML63 AMG. Very pleased with the car so far! Thinking I need to get myself a set of wheels for this badgirl. Probably going to purchase some HRE TR45's in the near future.
Bought a 2012 C63 coupe for the wife about a year ago and couldn't be happier with the pair. I feel like a coupe and an SUV is a great combo for right now, especially when its this coupe and SUV. Wife car is diamond white with black interior. Blacked out all the trim at my auto body shop and besides that the car is stock. I love everything about the c63 coupe, I feel like Mercedes did an excellent job with this car. Put on the 2016 C63 wheels, great fit, car looks very sharp.


ML63 Mod List:
Stage 2 engine tune, Renntech V3 digital lowering module,Custom painted interior of headlight housings, Matte and gloss black (body color), rear taillights and 3rd brake light smoked, All spoilers window moldings, full grill and emblems matte black. Roof Rack delete, Powder coated exhaust tips, Wheels powder coated gloss black, Calipers done in Brembo red with AMG stencils, Passport Escort radar detector with dash interface display, Stereo-Arc Audio Black Series components throughout vehicle. 3 Arc Audio Competition Series Amps, 2 Arc Audio Black Series 12" woofers, Audison Bit One sound processor with controller. Fiber glass enclosures, all wiring and fabrication, Full Ferrari Scuderia black alcantara head liner, pillars, sun shades, full trunk with custom white double stitching, Full vehicle: front bumper, fenders, hood, side view mirrors, doors, rear bumper and full trunk clear bra (xpel ultimate) wrapped.

You bought the ML63 I was looking at! It's a great choice for a great price.

My best advice is run the lightest wheels and brake rotors you possibly can. It will transform the car and make it feel like you dropped 500lbs from the car

 

Phil, thats gotta be the best ML63 on the planet (no offense to others, this one is just right down my street)

Just picked up a white 2012 ML63, after belting around Seattle for the past week, it's an amazing vehicle.

I'm really looking forward to having this tuned next week to unleash the devil with in...!

How is the ride quality now with your w166 ?

 

Looking good, only thing missing is AMG side skirts to replace the step rails.
