New ML 63 owner
Two questions:
1) I want to buy plain steel rims of a smaller diameter and fit them with taller, narrower purpose manufactured snow tires. (I Live in Buffalo NY). I want to go as small as possible without caliper clearance issues. This does NOT have the red performance calipers, but does have the 21" rims stock. I have searched plenty but there's seemingly thousands of opinions, as expected. I just want the bottom line.
2) I am going to tune it. Thoughts?
First choice: Alpha (http://alphaperformance.com/calibrat...o-calibration/)
Second: Eurocharged (http://www.eurocharged.com/products/...-software.html)
Third: Renntech (http://www.renntechmercedes.com/inde...66-ml63-detail)
Now, all of us can Google. I would love to hear REAL world experience with these items.
Thanks in advance, and thanks for reading!

I got my ML63 2013 a couple months ago.
550 hp is really nice and fast for a truck.
I wonder if 700hp is really needed. But for 3k Alpha tune
Is a great price for 150 more hp.
I know there some Renntech ML63 on the forum.
Hope they can help more.
Keep us updated on what tune u pick.
You will not be dissapointed the w166 ml63 is an incredible performance SUV and Wow tuned it becomes a silver bullet!
Renntech makes sick stuff but very expensive !
Alpha tuning is well known in the tuner industry but not that long since they tune MB's...however Stunning hp results for sure!
I did a lot of mods on mine but mostly Vath and Brabus for performance upgrades and I can say that I am extremely happy
They are the ultimate mid size SUV
Ive had my 2012 ML63 for about 2 months now, can't help you on question 1, but for question 2 I went with eurocharged, they had a $1299 deal going couldn't resist, wow what a difference it has made the car is an animal now, almost no delay in power delivery comes on strong from idle. I had a great transaction with the team. Needless to say Im very happy with the results.
