spark plugs
hey everyone,

i just want to confirm how many spark plugs does our ML63 w166 take? i searched on the forum i got nothing, i googled it and it says 2 per cylinder. and i have read somewhere online its 1 per cylinder.

EPC shows 8 spark plugs.

they need to be indexed when installed or they will make contact with the cylinder heads... I was going to do mine myself but decided to let the dealer do it.. apparently the back plugs are a real *****.

Are there any tricks to getting the boots off the plug? Also has someone diyed these plugs yet?

I have done mine. Look in E class sections for tricks on how to do it. It's not that bad it just takes a little time and a few tools.
