Based on the rim/wheel combo on the ml63 i spent the $2400... that hurt a little... but Ive swapped out 3 tires so far... but noticed the Pirelli's wear out ridiculously fast... all the small tread patterns are gone in 9k miles on the passenger rear tire...so i did a little research...

Called the dealer.... they can install 2 tires for $750 and it will still be part of the tire program... not too bad...

I wound up getting the continentals they are a little softer but have been great so far. I got 4 of them mounted and balanced for $1285 - they are great tires

 

I run the conti's as well.

 

I couldn't believe Walmart.com had better price on the Conti DWS than Tire Rack. I paid $234.66 each with free shipping to the store. I won't need tires until this winter but I picked up a set today.
