wanting advice on how to reset the service reminder on AMG ML63 W166
dash display had a service tab to access the ASSYST PLUS but will only display the service required. how do i rest it?
the familiar technique below the pictures doesn't work on AMG as ASSYST PLUS is under the service tab.(picture below).
this process doesnt work.
Close all doors, windows, hood and trunk
Turn the ignition to the “on” position, but do not start the engine.
Press the down button repeatedly until vehicle milage displayed
Hit the left arrow button until “trip” is displayed.
Press CALL button and within 1 second press OK
When the ASSYST menu appear, select the ASSYST PLUS and confirm with OK button.
Select FULL SERVICE
Scroll down to select CONFIRM SERV and confirm with OK button
Select appropriate OIL GRADE being used and press OK
Select YES and confirm with OK button.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
I have to RETRACT the above post, i did succeed with one small AMENDMENT to the procedure
Close all doors, windows, hood and trunk
