2012 ML63 Entertainment System Questions

Hello, I recently bought a 2012 ML63, it has the rear entertainment system option. Is there a way to play videos/movies off of a USB Stick or SD Card?

Has anybody on here swapped out into a head unit from Chris? Does it tie into the factory system well? Pros & Cons?
