Special tooling for MB?
I’m new to the MB. I’m pretty good with tools and enjoy doing things myself. Are there some special tools I should get? Does my regular Autozone code reader will suffice or is there a more specific one for the MB?
I have other German cars but this ML 63 AMG looks intimidating under the hood. I ordered new air filters and when I open the hood had no clue how to even begin.
Any advice on tooling or resources will be appreciated.

Lots of posts on this site and on the internet, YouTube, etc. Xentry/DAS are things you should read about when it comes to computer diagnostics. Basic OBD readers available at car parts stores will not get you all the way there. Oil extraction is something else to read about. Do lots of reading and searching, then post questions and people will be glad to help.
