BLUE SMOKE W166 ML63

2014, 60 000 Kms (42 000 Miles) on the odometer
second time on the race track in 6 months, not working too hard, come out of the corner and full throttle, got a good puff of smoke from the exhaust.
happened at least twice over 45 minute time on the track, never seen it before. (track officials even pointed it out as well)
not too many "G's" cornering but in "sport" and full throttle.
Oil level was between the high and low marker. (unchanged)
motor sounds fine and went well, going just fine now.
Any opinions on what caused the "significant" puff of blue smoke?
(EGR , computer controlled, if it has one, maybe?, or oil overfilling the tappet covers, if thats plausable)

What do the spark plugs look like? Any chance that the puff was a misfire?

Thanks for you opinion, potentially yes, although no noticeable loss of power, spark plug not checked.
the blue smoke looked like oil past the valve stem seals after deceleration, but it only did it a couple of times and was quite a "plume" of smoke when it did it.
