Friendly Introduction

Hello Friends, a short introduction to introduce myself and express my interest in this forum. I bought a 2015 ML63 11 months ago (11,000km) and I am in the process of conditioning and maintaining it to stay with it for a long time. I appreciate the welcome and all the help that you can give me on the issues that I will ask for your recommendation. Thank you!!!

So… I’m a rookie on this “forums” kind of thing but I’ve seen many people sharing their knowledge and having a lot experience with common issues on MB vehicles. So here I am.

I bought a 2015 ML63 W166 with 6.200mi over a year ago. It has been working great, some issues with the rear braking pads, so they where replaced in a MB local dealership (U$400). Now I’m starting to think on some maintance/upgrades, and I would like to know your comments:

1. Dash and doors “rattling” noise. Being a MB I think its sound like a toolbox on the inside. All the plastic panels on the door and dash makes constant plastic noises. I want to tighten as much as I can the interior of the car.

2. There is an import tuner shop in my town witch only works with German cars. Very well known, they are resellers of the mayor tunning brands (REVO – BEVO UK – Brabus) and they are suggesting re maping the ECU to a more “aggressive” program y Bevo. Also complement the remapping with a cat less downpipe.

I want to hear any recommendation regarding both matters. On the tunning thing, I don’t want to race my car o to take it the drag … I just want a really fast and reliable daily driver.
