Angry Airmatic Malfunction

So I got the dreaded airmatic malfunction message, and then it said the compressor needed to cool down.
The front of the car is on a lean as attached.

There are, however, no codes after I turn off the vehicle. If I try to raise it, it won't budge and will just say the compressor needs to cool down after a period.

So, I guess there must be a leak somewhere? I read if it was the struts, then both sides would go down?

Is it safe to drive short distances like this?
Not great timing with Xmas holidays!

You've probably fixed this by now but check the W164 forum for a lot if information and experiences with air suspension.

Thanks. Yeah it was a shock leak. Had to replace the shock.
