Unlocking / Antenna Iuss
2016 G63 - Unlocking mechanism does not work from a distance. I have to stand by the drivers side door to unlock the car. Not a key & battery issue. The dealer has informed me that it is an electrical fault in antenna and antenna amplifier.
With these part numbers quoted 463-670-33-01 this is for the antena 222-905-59-04-64 this is for the amplifier. The vehicle is still under warranty, but this is not covered, which is very annoying. Mercedes quoted $5k for the repair!!!
Wonder if anyone has experienced this issue. My mechanic is reluctant to touch it as it might involve removing the windscreen.
