Thumbs up FS: Argos Bluetooth System for Benz - $500

Up for sale is an Argos bluetooth module for Mercedes Vehicles. Most of your here are very familiar with these units. This little module allows you to intergrate a hidden bluetooth system into your existing command system. The module replaces the built in mercedes phone module in your trunk and gives you full bluetooth capabilities. You can make calls from your command system, see the caller id, upload phone book, answer calls from steering wheel and sound comes through your audio system. This is one of the best built in systems on the market. No splicing of wires, no bulky equipment on the dash, just plug and play. Takes about 10 minutes to install.

This unit is in mint condition and was used for one month before selling my vehicle. I loved it! I'm asking $500 for the module, I paid $700 for it from InCarTronics. I accept paypal and I will ship the same day. This module will work with Benz models with years ranging from 1999-2006 - I came out a 2000 S500, check out this link to find out if it the one I am selling works with your car.

http://www.incartronics.com/MBcompatibility.html

Just click on the year for your model, and if the Argo's photo below comes up this will work in your vehicle

There is also another model for late model mercedes, the itronics model. If you see the itronics model come up the Argos I'm selling is not compatible with your system.

PM me if interested

Nope... I wish! This is what I got back from him:
Hey FLYNGUN, yes, I have sold the Argos unit, but are you interested in a set of Bose Premium speakers that are from a 99 SL500?
If you happen to see one available... please let me know!

Yeah these things are definitely hard to get. Sure I'll keep you posted, though I only see maybe 5 of these going on sale per YEAR.

ML Class = 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 NOTE: If you are buying for a ML Class, and the car does not have a previous phone system installed (cradle in the armrest), you will need to buy the ML Completer Kit from a Mercedes Dealer, or just ask and I know a few places I can direct you too.

The Argos is a wireless solution that uses Bluetooth technology that is common in all of todays phones. If you have any phone, PDA, or smartphone with Bluetooth, this is the completely integrated solution for you. If your car was sold in the U.S., your car is already pre-wired for a phone system. This is just a plug-in installation that takes just a few minutes to perform. If your car was sold outside the U.S., your car may or may not be pre-wired (you can call your dealer and give them your VIN number to find out). If your car is not pre-wired, this kit will allow the Argos to be installed.
The Argos allows you to simply get into the car with the phone in your pocket or purse. The car then connects wirelessly to your phone when you start the car. Make no mistake, this is a fully integrated solution that operates exactly the same as an original factory phone system. Full integration means that all the original factory functions - such as using the factory navigation or other radio head unit and steering wheel controls to dial, accept/reject calls, browse the cell phone's directory, voice dialing if you have the Voice Activation feature, etc - will work just as Mercedes Benz intended. The unit simply plugs into the network connection that is in your trunk (hidden by a carpet panel).
Even if you are installing the Argos in a car that did not have a previous phone system installed, this comes with the D2B Fiber Optic Adapter Cable needed.
