BMW Bluetooth Upgrade Module (BTUM) P/N 84110410144 OR Mercedes Puck B67875856
This is a BMW Bluetooth Upgrade Module (BTUM) P/N 84110410144 OR Mercedes V60 Bluetooth Cradle Adapter P/N B67875856* (they are the same part, see below). I have used this only about 6 months in my car then traded the car in, so I no longer need it.
Works perfectly, pairs automatically when you get in the car. Set it up once and never bother again. Comes with Owner’s Manual.
Compatible with CPT9000 phone interface for Motorola V60 series mobile phones.
Spacer (P/N 6922575) included for BMW 7-Series vehicles produced from January 2003 through February 2005.
Incredibly easy-to-install instructions:
1. Connect module by placing in V60 cradle
2. Push button on module for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode
3. Search for Bluetooth devices on mobile phone
4. Select “BMW BTUM”
5. Enter passkey (located on back of BTUM module)
Can also store 500 phonebook entries, names and numbers.
*Both BMW and Mercedes have the same V60 phone in their cars, and they both sell the same V60 Bluetooth adapter, only under different part numbers. I’ve been using this in my 2003 Mercedes W211 E55 AMG which, like BMW, has the Motorola V60-based phone system in the center console. This item is the same as Mercedes Part Number B67875856.
Price is $230 - save over buying this MB part for $300+.
