W204/C350 ...The only way I can hook up subs an an amp in my car is to buy a $700 signal processor? Is this true? My intention was to run a high/low convertor fromthe factory amp to my aftermarket amp and go from there.... anyone ran a sub/amp combo off the factory MM head unit?Im sure this has been discussed here but im just trying to find some quick feedback.

Thanks in advance.

I use a hi/low converter i got off ebay. Works great. You don't need anything fancy.

Yea but they tell me if I do that the H/K MM system would fight the bass signal and the sub wont hit hard (because the system is set up to fight heavy bass and kill distortion).
