My dealer misdiagnosed my dead left stereo channel as a bad amplifier. Since I didn't want to drop the 1800 dollars on a new one I got one off eBay and installed it. This had no effect on the problem (it was actually an apparently common issue with severed speaker wires in the door, you'd think they would have checked that, no?)

So now I have two working amps for this car, and one of them has to go.

Amp works fine, has some minor blemishes on the cooling fins (see photos).

The ad for the amp when I bought it indicates it also fits CL600 and CL500, but obviously you'll want to verify the part number.
