**Boston** need a recommended benz specialist
I'm relatively a new member and certainly new in the area. My check engine light just came on and I'm wondering if there's a good mercedes socialist near by the Waltham (Greater Boston), MA area!

Never mind, found European Auto Solutions (EAS) @ Waltham. Amazing man cave for any MB fan, dealership service quality & business center etc... w/o the stealership prices. They were working on a fair amount of highend classic MB.
They fixed my issue within an hour for $50. Been driving the car for a day w/o any issues.

Nice to see another mbworld member in the area! I'm new to Boston as well. I was going to try "teddys foreign motors" when I needed service. He's located in Somerville which is right next door to you. Welcome to Boston! There's a cars and coffee coming up this Saturday. Its at 7am at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum.

Just dropped off the C55 to Teddy's Foreign Motors in Somerville.. I'll post my thoughts after the maintenance.
Shop was spotless and organized. So I can only expect good things for now.

^^yuppieracing is run by a member on here with a E55. ME and a few good AMG including a BS are on it.
If you need a shop go to European Auto Solutions in waltham. I wouldn't go anywhere else. place is by far amazing and will help you in any way.

Nice to see some good recommendations for EAS in Waltham - I've been getting a bit fed up with the stealerships North of Boston so far.
I've been hesitant to go to EAS because it seems by their website to mainly service old(er) cars - although, I figured that might have just been because it has not been updated in while.

Unfortunately I don't. It might be worth the drive depending on what you need to be done. If you are looking for a shop that's in par with the dealership in terms of knowledge and accurate diagnostic from the 1st time, EAS seems to be the only place. Certainly a long drive and generally a bit pricy for just regular checkups though. I go for electrical and other major issues.
