2015 ML350 4MATIC W166 leaking problem

Hi, This is for 2015 ML350 4MATIC owners, I have this one, bought it brand new one in 2014 for 2015 model, now I have a leaking problem between the engine and the transmission, I just saw the leak on 17000 miles but I don't know when it happened, may be after driving 5000 miles, I took it to the dealer and checked it, and they put dyeing and I have to drive a couple of thousand miles and they will check it with the Ultra-violet flesh light , they will fix it if it's leak, that one cost like 4-5G, the dealer didn't tell me that leak after they had done service-A , so what u guys have to do is drive 4-5000 miles and take the car to the auto shop, lift it up and check underneath, below driver side and passenger side, check the pictures , take a picture if u see any leaks and take it to the dealer and let them fix it before out of warranty, I will take it back to the dealer may be next month, good luck

Ultra-violet flesh light? Interesting... Can you confirm your car is not a BT engine, but the gas one?

If the leak is originating between engine and transmission, rear main seal leak is a possibility. If that's the case, it will definitely be covered by the warranty.

It's main seal leak

I think doesn't matter gasoline or Bluetech engine , u better check it out right away at the local auto shop first, pls don't be think like " oh this is a brand new wouldn't be"

I think you need to be "on top of this" a bit more..! You say there is a leak between rear of engine and tranny? Usually that would state the obvious... rear main crankshaft seal leaking. If that is the case, what is the level of your engine oil? Was it "overfilled"? Having that knowledge might be beneficial, should your service A tech have overfilled the oil in your engine. An "overfilled" engine will blow out seals, as well as pumping excess oil throughout the intake, as the engine tries to alleviate/counter the overfill pressure!
Many dealers "overfill" their Service A/B... well documented! Seals can blow for a lot of reasons, but too much oil is the standard! Especially with an almost new vehicle... Verify your oil level!... and definitely right after a service of any kind. If you are unsure of basic maintenance, not confident, whatever... drop by a reputable independent shop(before going back to dealer) and have them document what they have found. This will give you possible leverage should you dealer try to talk out his ***!

good luck

Thx for ur advice

Thx for ur advice, oil level was right after they had done service-A , I did check it when I get home, tech is really stupid if he overfilled , cause the damage and fix it, may be that their tricks and they will get the money from the manufacturer, when u look at the pics , the leak is come out from around the nut areas and the seal areas ( can't see it in the pics), the dealer wipe it off and dyeing, I've driven around 600 miles and check the leak with the ultra-violets flash light that make u see the leak, so I saw the leak again and will take it back to the dealer next month
