2014 ML350 BlueTEC
Service A Crazy Price at MB Brooklyn

I have a 2014 ML350 BlueTEC. The car is at 70,000 and says that it requires Service A now.

MB of Brooklyn is quoting me $631 for it which sounds completely insane to me. Can that possible be anything but a major rip-off? I'm perplexed as to what my options are. I need to get the car serviced, but I don't want to give in for this kind of robbery.

Am I wrong? Any suggestions?

Do you have a copy or list of what they are trying to sell you? Are there other things such as the transmission service, fuel filter, engine air filters or adblue tank drain/fill that are included in that estimate?

Per the Mercedes Service sheet for your vehicle:
Dust filter due every 10k
Transmission service due at 70k
Adblue tank fill every 10k/every service
Engine air filters due at 80k
Pollen Filters due at 80k
Fuel filter due every 40k
Brake fluid flush every 20k

Taking my '15 ML250 to an independent tomorrow for my 40k service B. Should run around $200. I got a quote from MB of Naples for $700. I spent the last 20 years working for a GM dealer and the price quoted is robbery. I know some of you will gladly pay it, but not me.

I only use MB of Naples for warranty work.

Which Naples independent are you using, and are you satisfied?

Just dropped off at Goodyear Collier Blvd. I was short on my estimate, it came to $300.01. That's a long way from $700. I'll let you know how it goes.

Back from Gdy. store. The Good: price was less than quoted. The Bad: Was supposed to be done at noon, got it at 4pm. Also, there was a noise under hood which I located (no big deal), and the dipstick was not pushed in all the way. Other then that, looks good.

Is that Goodyear south of 41 on the way to Marco Is (too far from me) or Goodyear on Collier by the corner of Vanderbilt Beach Rd (much closer to me)?
