I have a 1989 300e and the car has proven to be a magical being. Cross-country, there and back. Has started every time I turn the key for 5 years. Everything fits in the back seat. I would like to bring some of the systems of the beast gently into the 21st century. Any advice or part numbers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, just joined today. Based in Bedfordshire in the UK. Have owned my workhorse for 4 years now, a 2015 C220 AMG Line estate. Had 23,000 miles when I bought it and now has 105,000. Love it and can't bring myself to own anything other than Mercedes! Even used it for my recent wedding!! Only problems I have had are the Aux battery warning, a Nox warning and a creaking drivers door hinge. All common issues and easily solved.

My wife's family had a few Mercedes and I end up with them every time they buy a new one. I currently have a '05 C220 Cdi Avantgard SW and had a petrol A Class that I recently sold.
I do every job I can tackle with in my garage. From filters, to brake lines, I've done a few things on my A-Class. I like the feeling it gives, no one works on his own car anymore.
