I'm a new arrival to the forums. I have a black 2007 Mercedes e350 with 212,000 miles that a friend gave me when my other car got totaled. It lived most of its life in California, so it has less rust than many far newer cars here in New York. I've been wrenching on it a bit, but look forward to learning from the forum veterans as I navigate some 722.9 transmission troubles that just popped up. For now, I'll just go wander around the transmission part of the forum.

This is my first attempt of introducing myself I have just refurbished my 1979 350 SL from rough condition to excellent condition over the last 5 years . A Friend of mine has a 1969 280SE convertible which has battery charging problems can anyone tell me where the voltage regulator is fitted specifically, so I can have it checked out along with the alternator .

I have a 2012 c350 rwd coupe edition 1 with 147,000 kms
im not too sure how much more it’s worth than other similar c350s I see on the market , and I can’t find anything on google as to what the value of these cars are unfortunately, looking to see if anyone had any ideas or similar listings in their area I can compare to as I can’t find anything, thank you very much in advance

Hey this is desmo, was previously a BMW guy, lot of friends and good help over at M5board for my old E60 V10. The thing finally drove me crazy enough I bought an E63 M156 car. Old friend has an E55 AMG and it's a rocket.
Anyhow, on der alte BMW's I did coding/flashing/etc. Can anyone answer the following?
What is and where to get service/engineering software (in BMW world this is ISTA/INPA respectively).
What is and where to get coding software (in BMW world this is NCS expert, few other utilities as well).
Where to find coding options for various modules.
Nice to meet you all and thank you for reading this.
The last Benz my family owned was my grandmothers 1972 280 SEL, was a funny car for an old lady to have lol.

Mike here from CT. Gotten a number of tips and tricks which is most appreciated.
I've checked out the regional forum and the postings there are pretty sparse. Where's the best sub to post to try and get commendations for indy repair shops?

Hello Members, I'm new at this
I have a 2005 CLK500 and the interior fuse box is damaged by a 40a fuse melting. Any ideas of how to replace the box and how difficult the job is? any thoughts would be very helpful. thanks in advance Scott

Recently I disassembled my dashboard if I remember well you only need to remove the light switch and you will be able to remove te upper screw which attach the fuse box to the dashboard subframe

Hello everyone, I'm Michael, 76 years young going on 19. Couple of weeks ago I bought a 2011 E350 4matic with 86,000 miles for my wife to drive. Beautiful car that formerly resided in MD, VA, NC and SC. I currently own and drive a 2004 Daimler Chrysler Crossfire with 179,000 miles, a 1985 Jaguar XJS with 98,000 miles, and oh yeah my 2009 Chevy Impala grocery getter with 159,000.
Took the E350 on a 1700 mile shake down cruise along Michigan shoreline to the Keewenaw peninsula (furthest north piece of ground in Michigan) and back to see if this was as good a deal as I thought. IT IS!!
Just a great well maintained by MB dealers by previous owners.
