Hello everyone, I'm Michael, 76 years young going on 19. Couple of weeks ago I bought a 2011 E350 4matic with 86,000 miles for my wife to drive. Beautiful car that formerly resided in MD, VA, NC and SC. I currently own and drive a 2004 Daimler Chrysler Crossfire with 179,000 miles, a 1985 Jaguar XJS with 98,000 miles, and oh yeah my 2009 Chevy Impala grocery getter with 159,000.
Took the E350 on a 1700 mile shake down cruise along Michigan shoreline to the Keewenaw peninsula (furthest north piece of ground in Michigan) and back to see if this was as good a deal as I thought. IT IS!!
Just a great well maintained by MB dealers by previous owners.
Hi Michael and welcome to the family! Thanks for the intro and sharing the pics. Your E-Class looks great. All the best with it 👍
In process of purchasing 2014 CLS550 4matic car runs great, issues noticed so far, the key fobs do not lock or unlock doors or trunk, the keyless start button does not work, is this still a keeper are these minor fixes?
Recently picked up a 2005 G55 AMG. Looking to learn more about this truck. Ok to call it a truck. Purchased from my Uncle and am now third owner. He was a meticulous record keeper and I have over a foot tall stack of original documents and service records. This should be fun.
Hi Giorgionat,
Thank you for the information. I've removed the fusebox and now need to disconnect the wires from it. apparently I may need a special tool that holds down a clip that locks it into the box. Do You or anyone else know of this tool and where to get it? ScottH
Greetings everyone. My name is Brian. Just purchased a USED 2019 AMG C43 CABRIOLET. Has 48,000 miles on it. Had to retire my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS. Super big difference. Hope this car gives me the same reliability as my Mitsubishi did.

Hi Chris and welcome to the family. Thanks for the intro and sharing the pic. Your AMG looks great!
I'm thrilled to share that I've officially joined the Mercedes-Benz family with the introduction of my 23 EQS 450 4MATIC sedan. It's my first-ever Benz and first-ever EV, and I couldn't be more excited. My previous three vehicles were from Lexus, but I had my eye set on the EQS for months, and my persistence paid off big time. How could I resist the opportunity to drive a 23 EQS for the same price as my Lexus ES 350 Ultra Luxury? It was a no-brainer for me. I'm eager to explore and learn all about the advanced technology in the EQS; there's so much to discover for a tech enthusiast like myself. Thank you MBWorld team!
To MBWorld Citizens, I am glad to meet you all on this Forum!
I recently bought a GLE400, 2018 with 130,000Km(81000Miles), from a Used Car dealership in Toronto, Canada.
My first MB, this SUV is fantastic mechanically with the drive and feel.
However I found many of useful features are inactive, based on VIN Data Card, MB original equipment packages.
Such as;
Collision warning/Active brake intervention/Forward Collision Warning STOP FCW(Equipment Code is 258).
Parking Package (Code P44).
Active Park Assist(Code 235).
The Graphic Display also doesn't show any drive assist information.
Would anyone know the above features can be re-instated?
If the prior owner disabled them, what would be my risk by activating those features?
Do I need to go back to an MB dealership or a knowledgeable Mechanic reactivate them?
I very much appreciate your feedback and advice.
