Bagdad style

Hello,

Not sure how active this board is? I have just purchased my first Mercedes! I bought a 1986 190D for 1500$ from a good friend to help thin out his heard. Its fairly rough currently, leaks a bit of diesel from the injection pump delivery valves, the wiper and blower motors do not work, the brake lights do not work etc.

I will be putting some time into it the next few weeks as I purchased it to be my primary daily driver.

My first Mercedes, need some maintenance work like brakes , tpms sensors, secondary air injection pump, just to turn off what lights are on the dash. Love the car just hope this was a good purchase, very little info on the web for this car. So any help is appreciated

New here but I always liked working on MB. I do have an issue with my 2014 E350. I am trying to install the Emblem Star but everything I have researched points to using the fuse box as the hot wire connection point. I don't want to go this route and rather use a wire tap so the star comes on when the low beams come on. If anyone can point me to the correct thread, I'd be happy.
