2012 - C250 Sport
Checking in, new to the site and MB
Hey Guys, just checking in here with my first post, new to the site and to MB, picked up my first MB for my Wife this week... Like new 2012 C250 Sport Sedan loaded with all the goodies. Think I got a pretty good deal and while it's for the Wife (at least that is what she thinks) I do plan to tinker around on it a while adding a few mods I have been following on the site. (This site may turn out to be almost addictive as my Motorcycle forum site when it comes to Mod's)

Hi all, just joined because i know these forums have many people that know way more than the dealers know. We just picked up a 2001 S500 with 37k miles. we live in Palm Beach, FL. I'm looking for a zone 9 CD for the navigation system. Anyone have one they wouldn't mind parting with or that I can borrow to load in my car (If that is even possible)? I'm also looking for the small black "grate" that fits in the passenger side fog lamp (under the headlight), can't find it anywhere.

Hi All,
I just bought a 2003 SL 500 two days ago and I already love it. Had one issue I'm getting checked. When I tried to lower the roof one of the paddles on the truck lid stayed up stopping the retraction. Heard a clunk that sounded like cable, put a little pressure on the stuck paddle and was able to raise the roof up from the mid position. Didn't touch it after that.
Question, how big a deal is this?

not a big deal to repair ... basic hand tools
you will likely find more info on this forum if you do a search on "2307500111" this is the part number for the mercedes repair/upgrade that solves this problem.
you can find the kit for as little as $41 ($80 on amazon)
http://www.oediscountparts.com/parts...&siteid=215242
On my own SL55, I modified the original parts to solve this problem, but If I'd been aware of this kit at that time, I would have used it.
Cheers,
Chris

1999 SL500
Greetings:
I'm Ken. Last week I purchased a 1999 SL500 which had been parked and forgotten for the last 4 years. Moldy, nasty, full of the usual trash of a "barn find" car. Two long days of cleaning the interior and prepping the motor and shes a different girl. Started right up, and thanks to the forum, synced up as well. As soon as I fix the broken strut mount we should be back on the road.

I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and am a marine engineer on submarines in the Royal Canadian Navy. I just bought my first Mercedes. It is a dark grey 1989 300SEL with 245600kms originally from BC. I have always loved the W126 body style and now I own one for 2800$ in very good condition.

Hello everyone,
My name is Bertold, I am from Hungary.
New to MBWorld in all means.
A few months ago I felt myself old enough to buy my first ever Mercedes...![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Although a front suspension issue drove me to the forum, I hope it is a beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Hello all. First time owner. CL240. I took a dive and got it as is with hope of fixing it and keeping it solid. The problem. Cooling fan stays on and is loud like a turbine. So hats off to all and keep up the good work. Thanks

Howdy, everyone...
Just picked up an '08 ML63 AMG this past week...
I've owned several German cars in the past (and still do), but this is my first Mercedes and I'm already hooked!
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and share tips, tricks, etc.
