Hi My name is Lisa. I just purchased a used 2008 Mercedes R320 CDI. I monitor some of the conversations and with the help of the members were able to fix some small things. I know nothing about Mercedes so rely heavily on the advice I receive from this website. The lighter does not work. And the fuse box chart is missing. Does anyone know where I can get a fuse chart for this vehicle? I would like to check the fuse first and then hope I can get help on how to fix the lighter since this is where I plug my GPS. Many thanks.
In need of some serious direction before I mess up my car
I'm new here I have a
2015 S550 4mattic
2014 c350 4mattic
And my recent purchase for the extra harsh winters here in NY
2013 ML350 4 mattic
But I'm looking to convert over from the dull stock xenon bulbs over to a LED build kit but I don't know where to start of corse I want to keep it where it doesn't void my warranty and also burn my wire harnessing also have any bad notification lights on my cluster pop up but where do I buy such a kit and also I don't want them extremely bright like 9k output I would like stock "hid look" like on my other Mercedes cars I've look d around and they have different wattages and so forth I don't want to buy something that exceeds the maximum wattage and burn my wires or headlamp assembly also kits with fans on the bulbs some don't have them I've seen some with "canbus" here's a pic of the specs for the bulb I was told to buy that would "fit" my car lol
So any help adap would be greatly appreciated
I live in NYC born and raised so if anyone local 2 that would be great
Thanks everyone

Hi this is Robert from Ft Lauderdale Florida. Im a retired technician with just over 40 years experience working hands on Mercedes Benz and BMW cars. Having a love affair with my 07 CL 550. One of the things in my life that brings me much joy. I wish everyone here the best! If there were a list of 10 things that constitute happiness I would say one of them would be a Mercedes Benz!

If you are doing a light conversion be sure to add some good anti flicker filters and make sure all connections are solid and tight. The reason is that many aftermarket HID lighting kits cause electrical issues on MB. So if you are going to take your chances and do it anyways do it smart with a good quality filter. On some models HID lights will take out some of the weaker sensors in the computerize engine management. Common is the ozone sensor failure on E350. Also known as P2571 code (Direct Ozone Reduction Catalyst Temperature Sensor Circuit Intermittent/Erratic) the sensor is on the radiator. My advice is keep your lighting stock if you are withing your warranty. And avoid issues others have encountered.
Evening all and G'day!
purchased my first Mercedes today; a w210 e55 - its a fixer-upper but im in love and welcome the challenge! Having come from subarus, then saabs, i think i have finally found what i have been looking for.
hoping to pick her up next week, i will post photos as soon as i take delivery.
I just joined this forum after purchasing my "new" MB. Technically it is used as it was traded in after two months of ownership to a Porsche dealer for an SUV because it wasn't big enough And yes, I did purchase it sight unseen on the internet.
I'm a longtime "Longroof" (station wagon) owner, trading up from a 2002 VW Passat wagon. VW no longer sells a mid-size wagon in the US.
I just purchased a MB Extended Limited Warranty (ELW) after reading the Warranty thread in this forum. See my post there for my ELW purchase experience.
Hi, my name is Bob. We bought my son a CLK320 convertible and went through it and came across a SLK320 6 speed that I bought for me. I have belonged for several years and used the forums to work on friends cars. We really enjoy the cars. The last one I had was a 220SE that looked nice but was a terrible car. After 40 years we decided to try again.
Hello,
I Recently traded in my 2012 BMW 528 (grampa car) for a 2006 Designo graphite S65 AMG. I was lucky to find one with 55k miles on it.
This car is a blast to drive - seats all my 4 boys comfortably and hauls A$$.
Unlike my BMW or my boxster before that- Under the hood looks like a complex maze of tubes and wires. This car looks very complex.
That means to me that repair will be expensive. So... in a nutshell what pearls of wisdom should I know? What failures should I look for before they turn into expensive trips to the dealer?
I am very mechanically inclined, so short of pulling the motor, I know what I am looking at and can fix it if given a little guidance.
Just bought a 2012 E350 Arctic White almond MB-Tex It has a bunch of add on's such as P2, Keyless-Go, Parktronic, Sport Package, Rear Spoiler and Panorama Sunroof. It only has 26,000 miles and is a CPO car. I love all the bells and whistles. This is my fourth MB. Also for summer I have a 430CLK convertible. Bought that one 6 months ago with 18,000 miles on it. I look forward to reading and learning on this site.
Just had the Diamond Plate coating from Simonize applied to my truck and it looks incredible. The picture doesn't do it justice at all as it was a bit overcast when I took it but what a finish enhancer!
