1989 560 SL
Temporary New Member...maybe
I recently agreed to help my Grandmom sell her 1989 560 sl. This is the 3rd one that she has owned and loved the car, but its no longer practical for her. Although I have been around SLs over the years, I never took the time to become familiar with them. I just picked the car up in Georgia and drove it 14 hrs to San Antonio to sell it here. There are a few quirks with the car that I want to get ironed out before selling it. (I'm sure I will be asking advice in another section) however, I am truly amazed at how well this car rides and handles. It has 52,000 miles on it. Still stock and drives amazing! We have a Porsche Boxster and have owned BMW and VW in the past. There is definitely something to be said for German Engineering. I'm kind of getting attached to it.
