Alarm and Water leak
Hi,
My name is Ali from Southampton England. My beloved C180K has one or two issues that I need help on.
Two problems with my 2004 C Class W203 C180K. Rainwater comes into the driver side foot well (car stationary). Have cleared the drainage channels below the windscreen. Read somewhere the cause could be bonnet release cable. Will appreciate guidance from anyone who has suffered and cured similar problem.
Second, the anti-theft alarm keeps going off intermittently - probably every two weeks or so. As a short term solution to stop annoying the neighbors, I want to remove the fuse. The mb fuse allocation chart lists fuses 8,9 and 41. These fuses, particularly 41, also cover other functions. So which one to disable the alarm?
Don't know if the two are interlinked as I am not sure in what order they started.
