Hi everyone, I'm a long time BMW owner (19 years) and racer and bought my first Mercedes, a 2012 GL 350 that will do double duty as kid mover and race trailer hauler.
I found a pretty good deal after an exhaustive search and drove it home two weeks ago. The previous owner hadn't done the 20,000 mile service so I just finished that up last night; fluids and filters, easy stuff. Can't say the same about resetting the service indicator, but I suppose that's a discussion for the forums.
Here's the beast:
2012 GL 350; P2 Pkg, Leather, Parktronic, Blind Spot Assist, Illuminated running boards, Lighting Package, Heated Steering wheel, Tow Package, Rear Seat Entertainment, chrome trim.
The PO also had some crazy $1500 remote starter installed by the dealer, though I don't really see a need for it. Apparently you control the starting with a smartphone. Have yet to delve into that.
