My SL550 is now on the Atlantic Ocean
Hi,
I picked up my 2013 SL550 in Sindelfingen-Stuttgart on May 28. I drove it for a full month, with 3 different co-pilots, through Bavaria, Switzerland, France, Belgium & Holland. I ended my adventure in Bremerhaven. It was the best trip I've ever made, and I've traveled in Europe over 20 times during the past 40 years.
By making the effort to drop-off my SL in Bremerhaven, it got on the big ship only 4 days later! I flew home from Hamburg, a 1.5 hour train ride away from Bremerhaven.
But I must now drive my old Lexus SC430 -- which feels like a Toyota Carolla after driving the SL550 for a month in Europe -- until early August, when my SL550 arrives at my NJ Dealer. This will be a long, long wait!

The picture is me, waving 'good-bye' to my new SL, in the Bremerhaven drop-off location.
