New member with a 2007 Silver SL550 AMG Package
Greetings,
Just purchased a 2007 SL550 with 39,500 miles in "show room" condition. Very good deal, but have to replace the pulsation dampener, front SAM module and the rear brakes. Also doing an oil, brake and transmission fluid change. MB said the engine mounts were bad along with the transmission mounts. I don't feel any vibrations with the car at all aside from the growling of the ABC pump. I'm having a local shop do all the work for much less than MB, and they can be trusted. Did a pre-purchase inspection with MB and they didn't even pick up on the ABC pump growling while in their shop! Amazing this is even a Penske run MB dealer. Also told me they washed and vacuumed the car - which they didn't and wanted me to stay longer for them to do it.
