AGatsby44 - Hello All! Late 80's 560SEL
Hello All!
New to this forum and to the MB world in general. My grandfather, who's health has been declining, recently gave me his late 80's 560SEL. It needs a bit of work, but he asked that I fix it up and enjoy it for my family's use as much as possible. I am to pick it up in late September, as it is in a different state than I currently reside, but am eager to begin the process.
Therefore, I thought this would be a tremendous place to start learning more about the car, and the process of restoring certain elements and maintaining others. He was very proud of this car, and I want to be sure to bring it to and keep it in pristine condition.
I look forward to communicating with everyone here. Thank you very much.
