07 bmw 335i coupe
New! Please help with my question
Hello I'm new to this forum. I am 31, married and expecting a baby in 6 months. I have a question and hope maybe you guys can help me make a choice.
I own (pain in full) a 07 BMW 335i coupe with sport package, nav, heated seats. I love my car. It's fast for me and I've maintained its maintenance with oil Ect. It's a rear wheel drive and I found when I put winter package on, I don't have issues driving my car in the snow here in nj.
With the baby coming I wanted to get into a 4 door all wheel drive car with all the goodies included. I am not looking for fast anymore. I'm looking for relaxed reliable good looking car.
I went to the benz dealer and found a 2010 c 300 4matic with premium 1, nav and panoramic sun roof. It's a great color combo too.
If I get this car I would be paying about $5000 out of pocket after negotiation. Would you recommend this move? Or should I just get a winter package for my current car(sold mine last winter because I planned on getting other things for the car).
The carfax said 2 owners. One company fleet and the other personal. 1 accident front bumper but they said it was really a paint job and no structural damage. The car has 48,000 miles and it's CPO. Mine has 73,000 miles.
What do you suggest?

I rather choose 2010 c300 4matic as rear wheel drive is not reliable on slepery surface but for myself I would pick SUV like ml350 or GL450 they are very stable on snow , I currently have 2007 R500 4 matic and 2007 Ml350 4matic , both are excellent on snow and I don't have winter packages for those car , I also don't drive fast, had 1 rear wheel drive before and also last one , so much trouble on wet road

I am flying to Dallas,Tx to pick up my dream car of it all checks out in person. It is a 2012 S350 BlueTec with 22000 miles in the hard to find color, Diamond White Metallic/Cashmere Savanna interior. Texascarsdirect.com is a good website to compare with what you have found locally. The car I have a deposit on is close to $20k less than what a Benz dealer would charge and I've learned the hard way buying an '02 911 Cab that was CPO from a Porsche dealer. Not worth the extra money in my experience for the CPO car.

Good to hear man, first, best of luck with the addition to the family. It's going to be awesome! You may not get as much time with the car as ud like. But good luck with the car and welcome to Dallas for the short time your here.
