Mercedes Noob, 05 E55
Hello MBWorld! I've been lurking for the past week or so while mulling the purchase of an '05 E55, and pulled the trigger last night, so here I am!
I have been looking for something to fill the void I felt while driving a Kia... my two prior favorite vehicles being an 02 Corvette convertible, and an 01 Lincoln LS V8, the mercedes sedans became a target.
Still trying to get used to it. The sheer quantity of buttons available is daunting, as well as the semi-unintuitive controls (still trying to figure out what "reset" is for the gauge pod menus....). Overall, loving it, growing on me fast.
Hope to be of use on the forum, I have a fairly extensive DIY background on vehicles of all stripes. Not sure how much I'll dig into this one as the aftermarket components are just a weeeeee bit pricey! LOL
