Hi, I recently picked up a 2008 GL450 with 66k on it.
The car is great and I'm really happy with this car except one issue with the power tailgate.
I can open the tailgate by pulling the remote switch on the driver-side door or triggering the tailgate handle, but I cannot close it with any buttons.
I have to close it manually with the force and it closes when it hits the latch (so I don't think it's a latch problem)
When I push the remote switch to close it, I can hear some motor sound, but the tailgate stays open.
Also, the buttons on tailgate (close, lock buttons) don't do anything when hitting (no motor sound at all).
Has anyone experienced a similar symptom?
