High Beam Flashing On & Off R230
Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can help with my high beam issue?
When I engage high beam the lamp flashes on momentarily and then stays off for 3-4 seconds and then repeats. This is just on the passenger side. I have swapped out the H7 bulb and it's still the same. I have Xenon headlights with the H7 high beam. I wonder if it could the igniter/ballast but how do I tell? I have a dashboard error saying "Main Beam Left". The Xenons are working perfectly by the way. Is there any link between the Xenons and the ordinary type H7 bulbs? The car has failed it's MOT on this alone. Any help would be appreciated. Mark.
