I have a 2000 S 430 and I don't know what version cd to buy for the Navigation system C or D. How do I find out? I see the discs are expensive so I don't want to but the wrong one.

try your dealer yet?
get a part # or description; then hunt for something less expensive online
a lot of phones have good nav these days too,
