Hey guys
Hello everyone, my name is Sean. Im 27 years old and I recently purchased my first MB. its a silver 2002 S430 with 110,000 Km's. paid $ 9,000. And I just love it!! it seems to drive great for the price. but needs new tires. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on tires or small performance upgrades?

Welcome Sean. I drive an 02 CLK 430 cabriolet. Nice engine. Mine has 193K miles and really no issues even now. I haven't made any performance changes, other forum members will surely weigh in on that.
I have used Hancook Ventus tires and found them to have superb grip. They don't last too long but wheel spin seems reduced when I get on the pedal with the Hancooks. I bought a 2nd set of rims with Michelins already mounted and they are much harder. I saw little to no tread wear in the same span of time it takes to begin wearing down the Hancooks.
Good luck with your MB. If I had one at 27, the world would not have been safe...drive well
