2006 MB R 350
R350 issues (2006)
Happy to have joined the MB Forum and have owned, literally, over 100 MBs. New and vintage. Love the product.
I restore old MBs and am not versed on the newer models, mechanically. Neither is our team.
Bought a 2006 R350. Put new struts in the rear (both) and now she bounced over larger bumps. This is accompanied by the ABS light illuminating and, of course, engaging the brakes - ever so slightly (slowing the car down).
One other item, seems like the heat doesn't get very hot. Comfortable but nit hot. New thermostat, perhaps? Car has 80,000 miles. Or replace the climate control unit.
Also bought a 2000 E320 Wagon 4matic. Love that style. Painted it - looks great. Again, new rear struts (auto level suspension). Car doesn't bounce but sits too low in the rear. Is that the leveling sensor?
Thanks so much
Paul
