Mercedes E36 AMG
Smile Hi there!

Just joined this forum due to me recently purchasing a 1997 Mercedes E36 AMG W210 Series. Looking forward to some future communications with members on this site.

Mercedes E36 AMG
Many thanks! Got a few cosmetic jobs to take care of, then need to get it fully checked out mechanically. Drove 250 miles without a problem when I picked her up. That 3.6 engine has a real growl when you put your foot down. She's only done 87,000 miles, & it looks like I've got a low spec model which I suppose is good news as it limits the number of electrical issues. I know pretty much the stats regarding the E36, in terms of production numbers & that it was only built in 96 & 97. Would I be right in saying that the interior is no different to a E-Class W210 Avantgarde? Their is no mention of AMG anywhere within the interior. As far as I am aware the E36 was simply a E320 Avantgarde, with side skirts, AMG 18" Alloys, twin pipe AMG exhaust & AMG shocks & springs. Also not forgetting the AMG 3.6 block inside. If anybody can add more meat to the bones feel free?
