I have a daily driver 1992 300E with 5 speed manual, however on the streets of HCMC Vietnam, shifting gears is proving really tiring and not enjoyable. Finding a local driver to drive the car properly is next to impossible, so I am wondering how easy is it to convert to an automatic and what parts I will need. I would have to ship the parts from another country, but I think it would be still more cost effective than getting another car; I'm a new member and appreciate the help.
