Gbaglio

Hi guys i am new to the MB world and i just picked up an 280te today and this thing has me baffled. I need to replace the thermostat and i can not find parts anywhere! it is the inline 6 cylinder gas engine. I was wondering if i could use a thermostat from any w123 series? im in need of some real help here.....
