2002 Mercedes wagon
Hello to All from Atlanta

Just signed up today because I wanted to thank a member for some information that solved a problem I have been having with my 2002 E320 wagon.

Had a 2000 E320 wagon that got totaled out a few months ago so I got a 2002 model of the same car. Great shape, the only signs of wear are the drivers seat and the steering wheel. Looks like nobody ever sat in the rest of the car. Really pleased with the car except for one thing. When I accelerated really hard, the car would hesitate for about 3-5 seconds and then take off.

I read a post by a member named ohlord who suggested to
1. Turn the key to the on position
2. Mash the accelerator all the way to the floor and hold about 20 seconds
3. Turn the key off, then release the accelerator and wait about 3 min

I did this and took the car for a test drive. It ran like a top every time I floored it. Just wanted to say thanks.

2001 C320 Sport Wagon
Smile New Member Thank You Already

Hello from North Atlanta.

I have a 2002 C320 Sport wagon... Thanks to this form I found information and the PDF for the accelerator position module. Now all I need to to is find how to release the kick down sensor wire connector.

Looking forward to finding more information
