2002 C230 Kompressor Coupe
New to forum

Hi Everyone, I'm a new member and have a question. I have a 2002 C230 Kompressor coupe with 63,000 original miles. The check engine light came on about 3 days ago but I have not been able to get to my mechanic yet (it drives perfectly). Then, yesterday the battery died and the car lost all power (100% dead, my wife left an interior light on overnight). I replaced the battery today and immediately, I got an ESP malfunction. I drove the car around thinking it may clear the code but it didn't (it drove just fine, no issues). Can this all be related to the battery? If so, how can I reset the ESP malfunction and check engine light?
Thanks for any words of advice!

It needs couple of engine cycles and should go off if there is no other issues.

Welcome to the forum! Hope everything turns out okay. You could get rid of the check engine light with any type of scanner. Good luck!
