SLK 350 & C 300 4matic
New Member from Ottawa Canada
Hello all,
Recently traded our 09 Mazda6GT for a 2011 C Class 300 4matic - tenorite grey, AMG styling pkg, and premium pkg (COMAND, multi CD, nav). We also own an 06 SLK 350 (this summer will be season four)
Hoping to learn much about the car.
I did a little reading about the rear tail lamp issue; just replaced two bulbs on one side with Sylvania 7506ST long life bulbs. No sign of the overheat issue. Does everyone have a small blue and red wire going to the face of the bulb board? Is electrical contact fluid/grease recommended?
Finally, the board has sockets for the standing park lights, but on my car both are missing. Is this just mine, or is this a North American thing? We lived in Germany when I was in the RCAF (on exchange in Hamburg) and like the feature.
Retired from the RCAF and now fly for a major airline.
