Pretty reliable ride so far
I have a 2005 C240 sedan with 100K mi on it now. It has been a reliable car (for the most part) since purchase in 2010. I've had a few questions or issues since the purchase and this has lead me to inquire and join this site. I've had a "check engine" alert for a cylinder misfire, rear sun shade is stuck up, and I've had to replace the headlight bulbs a few times.
The check engine alert went off after I checked the alert code and hasn't come back on. Does anyone have suggestions regarding the cylinder misfire and the sun shade? Should I replace the spark plugs or tune the engine? I'm not sure if it's been done prior and I've read it's recommended at 100K.
Also, does the transmission in MB models need to be flushed or serviced at all? I've read both opinions, yes & no.
